Paphiopedilum Henryanum

Description: The plant has 3 to 6 leaves when mature, 10-17cm long, 1-2cm wide, dark green upper surface with white or yellow edges with purple base.

Tree: usually grows in bushes

Distribution: Henry’s Paphiopedilum grows on leaf litter and steep limestone slopes in the mountain forests of Northern Vietnam and China. This orchid species is distributed at altitudes of 910-1400m where there is quite dense dew and drizzle in winter and spring.

Flowering season: September to November – Temperature: 12-25 degrees Celsius.

Inflorescence: 1 flower, 12-15cm long + Cotton: 4-6cm wide, 4-5cm high and fragrant
